Sportstar Aces Awards 2023: On Monday (February 27), the Sportstar Aces Awards 2023 were presented in Mumbai, where the best performers in Indian sports from the previous year were honoured. It was the fifth edition of the star-studded prestigious awards, which recognised every significant achievement in Indian sports.
From the Indian badminton team’s historic Thomas Cup triumph to a number of individual triumphs at the world level were celebrated. Star athlete Neeraj Chopra’s consistency at the international level earned him one of the evening’s most important awards, Sportstar of the Year. Mirabai Chanu’s World Championship silver and Commonwealth Games gold earned her the title of Sportstar of the Year (Female).

On the night, 29 awards were given out, including individual and team awards from various sports. Hardik Pandya and Harmanpreet Kaur for Cricket, Avinash Sable and Annu Rani for Track and Field, the Thomas Cup-winning team for National Team of the Year and Moment of the Year, Rahul Jakhar for Sportsman of the Year (Parasports), and Gujarat Titans for Club of the Year were among the winners.
