You can book a movie ticket for Rs. 75. Yes, you heard it right! Audiences can watch Brahmastra, Bulu Film, Chup, and Vendhu Thanindathu Kaadu, among others, on the big screens. It is an initiative by the Multiplex Association of India (MAI), the tickets will be sold at a base price of Rs 75 for everyone.

The reason is September 23 is celebrated as National Cinema Day. National Cinema Day 2022 was originally scheduled for September 16, but it was moved to September 23. On this day, ticket prices in all theatres across the country (with a few exceptions) are 75 rupees. The rate applies only to the 2D and standard 3D versions. The IMAX 3D and 4D versions have been priced in the 150-200 rupee range, which is incredible.
