Dibrugarh’s Manoj Debnath to represent India in the Arm Wrestling Championship in France. It will be held in Dieppe, Franch from 26th September to 2 October. He got selected to represent team India in the below 63kg senior men category.
The mega event will be attended by at least 40 countries.
He recently won gold medals in both the right and left hand at the Asian Armwrestling Championship, which was held in Malaysia in June of this year.

In June 2022 Manoj won gold in both his left and right hands in the senior men 63kg category of the Asian Arm wrestling Championship, which was held in Selangor, Malaysia, from June 16 to 20.
He defeated Vietnam, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, and Cambodia to become the Asian champion.
Meanwhile, Manoj also won gold medals in both the right and left hand in the 63 kg senior men category at the recent National Arms Wrestling Championship, which was held in Goa from May 18 to 20.
In 2019, the athlete Monoj Leen Debnath won a silver medal in the ‘D.1 Armwrestling China Open’ in Shenzhen, China. In the finals of the 63-kg senior men’s category, the 25-year-old Dibrugarh arm wrestler lost to Russia’s Egor Leshtaev.
