Black pepper, which come from the Sanskrit word ‘pippali which means Berry, was once considered as Black gold by the traders. In India it is utter as kalee Mirchi or Gol Mirchi. It is also oftenly referred to as the ‘king of spices’ too. It’s scientific name is piper nigrum.

Black pepper comes from the dried, unripe berries. To get the Black pepper, we picked almost ripe berries and leave them to dry until they fully turn black . We used for cooking differently by grinding or without grinding. It is widely used in every meal. A chemical component called piperine is found in Black pepper which is beneficial for health. Research find a compound found in Black pepper provide to protect against cell damage, improve nutrients absorption and help digestive issue.
People mainly uses as medical purpose rather than spices. It is prepared through some home remedies like by mixing with honey, warm water, turmeric, milk etc. to cure a disease like asthma, arthritis, diarrhea, upset stomach, menstrual pain, stuffy nose, sinus infection, dry and chronic cough etc.

As it is used widely from beneficial to health and taste our food. But using in excessive way may lead to injured our health too like leads to gastric, increase possibility of stomach cancer and and pregnancy side effect etc.
