Arunachal Pradesh: On March 16, an Indian army helicopter allegedly crashed in the Arunachal Pradesh district of West Kameng.
At around 09:15 a.m. on March 16, an Army Aviation Cheetah helicopter flying an operational sortie near Bomdila, Arunachal Pradesh, was reported to have lost contact with ATC.
The plane is said to have crashed near Mandala, west of Bomdila. Search and rescue teams have been formed.

A search operation to find the missing pilots was launched.
The Cheetah helicopter, which was on an operational sortie, reportedly lost contact with Air Traffic Control (ATC) at around 9.15 a.m. today, according to Lt Col Mahendra Rawat, PRO Defence Guwahati.
