Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up 36 (thirty six) numbers of sanctioned vacant post of Havilder under Directorate of Civil Defence and Home Guards in the pay scale of Rs. 14000 – 60500 + GP 6800 (PB-2). Applications must be submitted online through SLPRB website (www.slprbassam.in) and will be received w.e.f. 02-01-2023. The last date for receiving application will be 31-01-2023.No application will be received thereafter.

Thirty percent (30%) of the vacancies will be (horizontal) reserved for women.
Eligibility Criteria of Civil Defence & Home Guards Assam Recruitment 2023:
Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian Citizen, permanent resident of Assam.
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.
Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 18 to 40 years as on 01-07-2022 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.07.2004 and on or after 01.07.1982).
Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.
# SC/ST: 5 years
# OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
Educational Qualification: H.S.L.C or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-
The candidate must satisfy the following criteria.:-
a) Nationality- Candidates must be Indian Citizen, permanent resident of Assam.
b) Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in
Assam.
c) Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.
d) Age: 18 to 40 years as on 01-07-2022 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before
01.07.2004 and on or after 01.07.1982).
Relaxations :Upper age limit will be relaxed for:
(i) 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) and ST(H).
(ii) 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.
Educational qualification :
H.S.L.C or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
Other Qualification: Minimum NCC ‘B’ Certificate.
Note :- The persons having H.S.L.C. passed certificate but not possessing minimum
NCC ‘B’ Certificate are not eligible to apply.
