War 2: Following the success of Pathaan and Tiger 3, Yash Raj Films is preparing to bring Major Kabir back to the big screen. According to reports, Aditya Chopra and Shridhar Raghavan have completed the script, and the film will begin production by the end of the year. Hrithik will reprise his role as Major Kabir Dhaliwal; however, it is unclear whether the film will tell Kabir’s backstory.
Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, transformed theatres into stadiums when ‘bhaijaan’ Salman Khan joined the forces as Tiger. The iconic duo lit up the big screen, and it was a dream come true for any Bollywood fan. One thing that everyone missed was Hrithik Roshan’s appearance as Kabir. However, it appears that the producers intend to capitalise on the hype by releasing War 2 sooner than expected!

Yash Raj Films has officially announced its Spy Universe with Pathaan for the uninitiated. In the future, all of their spy films will be linked together. Bringing Pathaan and Tiger together was the first classic move, and future plans include bringing in Kabir from War (played by Hrithik) as well. Surprisingly, the development is moving much faster than expected.

According to a source, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s War is the third YRF spy film after Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai. However, the source added that the film was created as a standalone with no obvious connection to the previous Tiger films.
Unlike Pathaan, which made references to War and Ek Tha Tiger, and the upcoming Tiger 3, which will be a sequel to Pathaan, War 2 will be a massive film with connections to all five Spy Universe films.
