The two highly anticipated Bollywood movies are releasing this Friday – the biographical war drama Sam Bahadur starring Vicky Kaushal and the crime thriller Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor.

In a recent interview, Vicky Kaushal was asked about his thoughts on the release of Animal on the same day, even though Sam Bahadur had initially announced the date. In a playful manner, Vicky responded with a cricket reference.
He said, “When two opening batsmen come to the crease, playing for the same team, you won’t say that the two batsmen are clashing with each other; they are playing for a single team, so we are playing for Hindi cinema. one batsman scores big hits, the other scoring strategic singles while maintaining the strike is also important. When asked about which film will score this big hit, Vicky said, “The audience will decide.”

Sam Bahadur is a biopic film, based on India”s first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. The film focuses on the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film stars Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga”s Animal is based on a fractured relationship between a father and a son. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol.
