“Freddy,” starring Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan, will premiere at midnight on Disney+ Hotstar the makers announced Monday. The film, produced by Balaji Telefilms and Northern Lights Films, is billed as a suspenseful thriller. Shashanka Ghosh directed the film, which was co-produced by Jay Shewakramani’s Northern Light Films and Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms.

Alaya Furniturewala, who played Saif Ali Khan’s daughter in Jawani Jaaneman, also appears in the film. In the film, Alaya plays the love interest of Kartik Aaryan.

 

Shashanka Ghosh, known for films such as “Khoobsurat,” “Veere Di Wedding,” and “Plan A Plan B,” directed “Freddy,” in which Aaryan plays Dr. Freddy Ginwala.

Kartik Aaryan has been having a good run since the release of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. At the box office, the film has earned more than Rs 100 crore.

He is currently filming for Rohit Dhawan’s Shehzada. Shehzada is an action drama film starring Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, and a number of other actors. The film is a remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, a 2020 Telugu film starring Allu Arjun, Pooja Hegde, Tabu, and others.
