Daniel Radcliffe, better known as Harry Potter, is about to become a father. On March 25, the actor’s representative confirmed that he is expecting his first child with longtime girlfriend Erin Darke.

Darke, 38, even showed off her baby bump in New York while the couple was out for a stroll in the city. She was dressed in a black hoodie that hugged her stomach, leggings, and a black and white checked peacoat. Daniel, on the other hand, was dressed casually in a navy puffer jacket and denims.

On the set of Kill Your Darlings, the two first met. During that time, sparks flew between the two, and sources later confirmed that they were affectionate with each other after being spotted at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival.

ABOUT HARRY AND ERIN
In an interview in 2015, Radcliffe almost confirmed this, saying, “That’s a wonderful record of us flirting for the first time.” There’s no acting going on — at least not from my perspective. She makes me laugh at one point, and I’m laughing as myself, not as my character. She was both hilarious and astute. “I realised I was in big trouble.”
Since then, Radcliffe and Darke have been together. In 2020, he was seen gushing about Erin’s acceptance of his geeky side.
We can only assume that Radcliffe would make a good father based on his previous performances. While he hasn’t spoken much about children recently, he did express a desire for them last year. Daniel Radcliffe told a news website in October that he does not want his children to be famous, but he would love to have them on his film sets.
He also expressed his desire to see his children find film sets interesting and willing to work in one of the departments. While discussing how film sets can be beneficial for children to learn new skills, he stressed the importance of avoiding the “fame side” for children.
