Pijush Hazarika, the Assam Cabinet Minister, has declared that Himanta Biswa Sarma’s government is committed to providing employment opportunities to 1,35,000 young individuals.

In Rangia LAC’s joining ceremony and karyakarta sanmelan, Assam Cabinet Minister Pijush Hazarika emphasized Himanta Biswa Sarma’s government’s dedication to employ 1,35,000 young individuals.

Addressing a gathered crowd, Hazarika stated, “The BJP government led by Himanta Biswa Sarma has employed 87,000 youths over the past 2.5 years.” Looking ahead to the next 2.5 years, our commitment is to offer jobs to an additional 48,000 youths, setting a record by exceeding expectations in fulfilling promises”.

Criticizing the prior administration, Hazarika highlighted that the Congress party’s corrupt behavior favored job candidates with financial means for bribery. In contrast, the BJP government opposed such practices, eliminated corruption, and ensured a fair and equal opportunity for all job seekers in the state.

Hazarika reaffirmed a significant commitment, emphasizing the gradual transition of the Orunodoi scheme into Orunodoi Parivar, accompanied by incremental financial enhancements.

Declaring the fulfillment of this pledge, the Minister noted that the Arunodaya scheme currently supports 27 lakh families, with the amount set to increase from Rs 1,250 to Rs 1,450 in the near future.
