Multiple individuals were injured when two passenger vehicles collided head-on in the Morigaon district of Assam today.
Preliminary details indicate that the collision occurred in the Jaluguti area, where passenger-carrying vehicles collided head-on, resulting in injuries to a minimum of 25 individuals.
Reports indicated that individuals who suffered injuries were hospitalized in critical condition.
A passenger, speaking to reporters, mentioned, “The oncoming vehicle collided with the one we were in. I sustained minor shoulder injuries, but many others were severely hurt”.
Uttam Das, a Doctor at Morigaon Civil Hospital, told the media that 25 injured people have been admitted to the government-run hospital.
“Out of the injured persons, one person has been referred to Guwahati Medical College and Hospital for his severe injuries. No one died in the incident”, Dr Uttam Das said.
