Ram Navami 2023: Hindus celebrate Chaitra Navratri with great fanfare every year across the country. This year’s festival began on March 22 and will conclude on March 30, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. It occurs on Shukla Paksha Navami (the ninth day of Chaitra month) (the first month of the Hindu Calendar). Ram Navami commemorates the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Ram, who is thought to be Lord Vishnu’s seventh incarnation. It is also observed as the end of Chaitra Navratri. Devotees of Maa Durga and Lord Ram perform havan at their homes, break the nine-day Navratri fast, visit temples, wear new clothes, and other activities.

Chaitra Navratri is observed annually in March or April according to the Hindu calendar. Ram Navami falls on Thursday, March 30 this year. Lord Rama was born in the middle of the Hindu day, during the Madhyahna period. This year, it will last from 11:11 a.m. to 1:40 p.m., according to Drik Panchang. Meanwhile, Navami tithi begins at 9:07 p.m. on March 29 and ends at 11:30 p.m. on March 30.

Ram Navami 2023: 5 Simple And Easy Prasad Food Items For Kanjaks
1. Kala Chana
Take a cup of soaked black chana and soak it overnight before boiling it. Preheat a pan with oil, then add cumin seeds and sauté. Green chilies and other spices, such as coriander powder and turmeric powder, should be added. Cooked chana and its water should be added. Combine the red chilli powder, garam masala, and mango powder in a mixing bowl. Cook for two minutes, then add the coriander leaves.
2. Halwa
Preheat a pan and melt the butter in it. Roast the semolina on a medium flame until the colour changes to brown. With semolina, roast chopped cashew nuts. Add the raisins, water, and sugar last. Cook until the semolina expands on a low heat. Continue to stir until the mixture becomes thick.
3. Aloo ki sabzi
In a pressure cooker, heat the oil and add the mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida, and curry leaves; sauté for 30 seconds.
Combine tomato, salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and cumin powder in a mixing bowl.
Along with the garam masala, add the potatoes, chopped coriander, and 1 cup water. Cook for 4 minutes before serving.
4. Coconut Ladoo
In a saucepan, combine grated coconut, sugar, and milk. Cook until the batter thickens and begins to leave the sides of the pan. Remove the pan from the heat and set it aside to cool. Make small balls out of the mixture and top with your favourite nuts.
5. Puris
To make a dough, combine wheat flour, salt, and oil. At regular intervals, add water. When the dough is finished, set it aside for 20 minutes. Warm the oil for puris. Form the dough into small balls and flatten them. In the oil pan, gently fry the puri on a high heat.
