PM Narendra Modi on Saturday launched 5G services in India. In addition, PM Modi introduced 5G services in India, The prime minister emphasized the potential for 5G technology to transform lifestyles and urged business executives to raise public awareness of its potential.

On the other hand,The “New digital Universe” topic will be the focus of the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2022, which runs from October 1 through October 4. It will bring together top academics, businesspeople, inventors, and representatives of the government to examine and highlight the unusual prospects brought about by the quick uptake and dissemination of digital technology.

 

 

Reliance Jio Chairman, Akash Ambani said ” “Jio plans to cover entire India by December…We will make it very affordable, it should be affordable for every Indian – right from device to service.”

 

The much-anticipated service was introduced by the PM at the 6th India Mobile Congress 2022, which took place from October 1–4 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. After Diwali, 5G services will be accessible in 13 Indian cities.

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and Cellular Operators Association of India jointly organize the India Mobile Congress (IMC), which bills itself as the largest telecom, media, and technology gathering in Asia (COAI).

A record 1.5 lakh crore worth of bids were submitted for India’s most recent telecom spectrum auction, with Mukesh Ambani’s Jio winning nearly half of the airwaves sold with a bid of 88,078 crore.

According to earlier statements made by Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Union Minister for Communications, Electronics & Information Technology, the government has set a target of 80% coverage of 5G telecom services in the nation in a short period of time.

On the other hand, Aditya Birla Group chairman, Kumar Mangalam Birla said “Vodafone-Idea has made a lot of preparations. Network is compatible for #5G conversion. As PM said, this isn’t just a new technology but a revolution. Vodafone-Idea will make all efforts to be a part of this revolution.”
