Pakistan captain Babar Azam stated that his team has prepared well and is ready for the important T20 World Cup match against India on October 23. Pakistan captain Babar Azam seemed to have some words of motivation for his players after they were defeated by India by four wickets in the T20 World Cup 2022 on Sunday.

The arch-rivals begin their season at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). India won the toss and chose to bat first against Pakistan.

Babar said during the coin toss: “We’ll try to post between 160 and 170 words. We’ve done our homework and are ready for this big game.”

Babar also stated that Pakistan will rely on its recent T20I series against England as well as its tri-series victory over New Zealand and Bangladesh. “We played a T20I series at home (against England) and a tri-series in New Zealand, so we’re ready. We have three fast bowlers and two spinners on the team “Pakistan’s captain stated.

At the same time, the T20 World Cup began with India’s victory. At the same time, India’s hero in this victory was Virat Kohli, who snatched the match from Pakistan’s grasp.

“Looks like a good pitch, it’s always nice to bowl with overcast conditions,” Rohit, who will captain India for the first time in a World Cup, said. I believe the ball will swing around a bit, and we must capitalise on this.

The young captain praised the team’s effort while also emphasizing that they would work on their mistakes and stick together as a team. India and Pakistan recently met twice at the 2022 Asia Cup, with India winning the first match and Pakistan winning the Super Four match. Pakistan will look to build on last year’s group-match win over India at the 2021 T20 World Cup, while India will look to avenge their 10-wicket defeat in the UAE.

Actually, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) released a video after the match in which Matthew Hayden, Babar Azam, and Saqlain Mushtaq consoled their players following their defeat in Melbourne.
