Assam: The 4th Asian Kho Kho Championship (Men and Women) will be held in Tamulpur, Assam, from March 20 to 23. The Assam Kho Kho Association made the announcement at a press conference held at the Hotel City Palace in Guwahati. The championship will be hosted by the Kho Kho Federation of India.
The championship is expected to feature at least 14 countries, including India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Singapore, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Azerbaijan, and Sri Lanka. The championship is expected to attract over 400 athletes.
The 4th Asian Kho Kho Championship is scheduled to be held in Tamulpur in March 2023.

The India team selection process will take place from March 14 to 18 at Sarusajai Stadium in Guwahati. The results will be announced on March 18 in the evening.
Over Rs. 4 crores has been set aside for the championship, which will feature some of Asia’s best Kho Kho players competing for top honours.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will attend the Asian Kho Kho Championship’s opening ceremony. Lieutenant General Rana Pratap Kalita will be with him at the ceremony.
