Meghalaya Assembly Election 2023: According to the most recent Election Commission updates, the ruling National People’s Party (NPP) has won 20 seats and is leading four others. The United Democratic Party won 11 seats, while Congress won five. The Voice of the People Party (VPP) and the Trinamool Congress each won four seats; the Mamata Banerjee-led party also won one seat. On Monday, the state voted, along with Nagaland. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma has dropped a subtle hint of a possible post-election alliance, as the latest counting trends point to a hung Assembly.
