A live bomb was discovered near the home of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann in Chandigarh. According to reports, a bomb squad is currently on the scene.
On Monday, a live bomb shell was discovered near Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s residence in Chandigarh. The location of the bomb shell is also close to the helipad of the Punjab and Haryana Chief Minister’s House.
A bomb disposal squad is on the scene, and police have cordoned off the area.

The bomb shell was discovered in a mango plantation between Kansal and Naya Gaon. This area is approximately one kilometre from the Punjab and Haryana Chief Minister’s helipad and approximately two kilometres from Bhagwant Mann’s residence.
“A live bomb shell was discovered here. It was secured with the assistance of the police and a bomb disposal squad. An Army team has been dispatched. The area is currently being cordoned off. A tubewell operator spotted the live bombshell in the mango plantation near the helipad and the Punjab Chief Minister’s residence between 4 and 4:30 p.m.
During this time, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was not at his residence, which is only a kilometre away from the incident.
