Gaurav Gogoi and Pradyut Bordoloi to Seek AIUDF Support in Lok Sabha Polls: Pijush Hazarika

Cabinet minister Pijush Hazarika asserts that Congress leaders Gaurav Gogoi and Pradyut Bordoloi will openly seek the support of the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

In the discussion about preparations for the Lok Sabha election, Hazarika asserted that Gaurav Gogoi and Pradyut Bordoloi of the Congress party will publicly announce an alliance with the AIUDF party in Dibrugarh today.

Hazarika added, “The saffron party alliance remains resolute by these alliances. We are confident that, under the leadership of Himanta Biswa Sarma, the saffron party will secure victory in 12 Lok Sabha seats in the upcoming elections”.

In a media statement, Cabinet Minister Pijush Hazarika mentioned, “This year, 35,770 deserving students in the state have received the esteemed Dr. Banikanta Kakati award. Authorities have awarded scooters to girl students securing the first position and boys achieving 75 percent or above in the HS final year examinations.

Additionally, the minister emphasized that the initiative has presented scooters to around 3,100 students in Barak Valley alone, reflecting its reach across various regions of the state.

Furthermore, as part of this initiative, authorities have awarded scooters to 1,250 students each in Karimganj and Silchar, along with 500 students in Hailakandi.
