Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra became the first Indian to win the Diamond League meet and claim the top spot at Lausanne, Switzerland with the best throw of 89.08m.
The 24-year-old javelin thrower has also qualified for the Diamond League final and 2023 World Championships, said a tweet shared by Sports Authority of India.

The Diamond League Finals will be held in Zurich, Switzerland from September 7.
