In mid-June, during a special meeting of the NMML Society, it was resolved to change its name to PMML Society. The meeting was preside over by the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, vice President of the Society.
The news, however has not been well received by the opposition, which accused Modi government of erasing the first Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru legacy.
