Guwahati: Guwahati Police recovered the two children safely, who were abducted from Gotanagar, Guwahati
They were found in Mahua, Bihar’s Vaishali district by Guwahati Police.
On March 17, two children, aged 9 and 4, were abducted from their own home in Guwahati’s Tetelia neighborhood.

According to reports, the children were playing outside when they were abducted by unknown individuals.
The father of the children has been identified as Madan Rai.

Two minors were playing in their front yard when the incident occurred.
According to sources, miscreants abducted them last night in a four-wheeler vehicle.
Police arrived on the scene and began an investigation after receiving information about the incident.
Bibek Kumar and Ajit Kumar, on the other hand, have been identified as minor victims. Madan Rai has been identified as the father of the children.
The kidnapped minors, however, have yet to be found.
Meanwhile, family members suspected Rahul and Sajan, as well as two Bihar residents.
More research is being carried out.
Diganta Borah Takes Charge as New Guwahati Police Commissioner
IPS Diganta Borah took over as the new Guwahati Police Commissioner.
IPS Borah has taken over as Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Assam from IPS Harmeet Singh.
Harmeet Singh has been assigned to the Assam Police headquarters in Ulubari as the Special Director General of Police (Administration).
Borah stated during his assumption of responsibility that he will work for the welfare of the people and implement all crime-prevention measures in Guwahati.
