Vaishali Takkar, the actress from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, committed suicide at her Indore home. In 2016, she made her television debut as Sanjana Singh aka Sanju in the long-running show produced by Rajan Shahi. She later appeared in serials such as Yeh Vaada Raha, Yeh Hai Aashiqui Vrinda, and Sasural Simar Ka. Her most recent appearance was in the show Rakshabandhan, in which she co-starred with Bigg Boss 14’s Nishant Malkani. Vaishali had been living in Indore for the past year when her death was announced.

According to ANI, Vaishali has been stressed for quite some time. This was mentioned in her suicide note. Her former boyfriend was also mentioned in the note as harassing her.

Vaishali Takkar is best known for her roles in Sasural Simar Ka as Anjali Bharadwaj, Super Sisters as Shivani Sharma, Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara as Netra Singh Rathore, and Manmohini 2 as Ananya Mishra. Vaishali Takkar made her television debut in Star Plus’ longest-running drama Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, where she played Sanjana from 2015 to 2016. She played Vrinda in Yeh Hai Aashiqui in 2016. She was most recently seen in the TV show Rakshabandhan as Kanak Singhsaal Singh Thakur.

Vaishali also announced her engagement to fans in April of last year. On Instagram, the actress posted a video of her roka ceremony and revealed the name of her future husband, Dr. Abhinandan Singh.

When it was discovered that Vaishali had hung herself, the police rushed to the scene. A suicide note was discovered near the scene. According to the preliminary investigation, the suicide was motivated by a love affair. The case is being investigated by the Tejaji Nagar police station.
