Pathaan Movie Controversy: According to sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today asked BJP leaders to hold off on making unnecessary remarks about movies in order to prioritise the party’s development agenda.

On the second and final day of the BJP’s National Executive Meeting in Delhi today, the PM addressed the party members. While everyone in the party works hard, according to PM Modi, some people will comment on a movie and change the entire plot.

Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s movie “Pathaan” has drawn criticism from a number of BJP leaders, including Narottam Mishra and Ram Kadam, and there have been growing calls to ban it.

Padukone’s costume in the “Pathaan” song as well as the colour of Padukone and lead actor Shah Rukh Khan’s clothing had also drawn criticism from Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra, who called for its “rectification.” He forewarned that a film ban would be worthwhile to consider if the objectionable scenes were not removed.

According to sources, PM Modi advised party members to put the party’s development agenda on hold when making unnecessary comments about things like movies in his address to the two-day BJP national executive, which was followed by his remarks.
