MasterChef India Winner: Assam boy Nayanjyoti Saikia has been named the winner of the cooking reality show MasterChef India, bringing glory to the state.

Nayanjyoti Saikia, 26, is a self-taught cook from Tinsukia, Assam.

The winner of the cooking reality show has been announced ahead of the show’s finale. After the finale shoot, a fan page of the show leaked a photo of Nayanjyoti, dressed in the iconic ‘MasterChef coat,’ holding the trophy and surrounded by crew members.

The winner of MasterChef India has been announced. While the finale is still a few weeks away, the winner’s photo has been leaked on social media, and it’s none other than Nayanjyoti Saikia.

Fans of the show congratulated Nayanjyoti immediately on social media, praising his well-deserved victory. However, the show has recently come under fire, with some viewers accusing the judges of being biassed against certain contestants. Aruna Vijay, a vegetarian, was allowed to cook with paneer during a challenge while others were forced to cook with mutton, prompting viewers to accuse the judges of favouritism.

Nayanjyoti Saikia, an Assamese cook, is self-taught at the age of 26. Chef Vikas Khanna discovered him on Instagram. While his father was hesitant to allow him to pursue his passion for cooking, the Michelin-starred chef found a way to persuade him. Nayanjyoti had his own journey on MasterChef, performing exceptionally well in some challenges while finishing last in others.

Nayanjyoti’s journey on the show has been a roller coaster, with his performances varying throughout the competition. Chef Vikas Khanna noticed him on Instagram, and despite his father’s initial reluctance to let him pursue cooking, Nayanjyoti persisted and eventually won the competition.
