Gadar 2 First Look: Sunny Deol celebrated Republic Day by releasing the first trailer for his upcoming film Gadar 2, which also stars Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma. He shared the poster on Instagram, in which the actor is as fierce as ever, holding a massive hammer. He wrote his famous dialogue from the film’s prequel, “Hindustan Zindabaad Hai… Zindabaad Tha… Aur Zindabaad Rahega!” on the poster. He went on to say, “This Independence Day, we bring you the most anticipated sequel in Indian cinema in two decades. #Gadar2 will be released in theatres on August 11, 2023.” Towards the end, he wished his fans, “#HappyRepublicDay”.
The film has also set its release date as August 11, 2023.

Excited fans flooded the comment section shortly after Sunny Deol shared the poster. “I’ll definitely watch this movie,” one user wrote, while another said, “The absolute OG action star #legend.”

Gadar 2 is the sequel to the 2001 film Gadar, directed by Anil Sharma. Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkasrh Sharma will reprise their roles as Tara Singh, Sakeena, and Jeete in the sequel. In pivotal roles in the sequel are Luv Sinha, Simrat Kaur, Manish Wadhwa, and Gaurav Chopra.
The Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel-starrer created an insurmountable stir in Bollywood when it released in 2001 and clashed against Aamir Khan’s Oscar nominated ‘Lagaan’.
