In the ZEE5 film Mrs Undercover, Radhika Apte plays a housewife until she is rehired as an undercover agent to track down a serial killer who targets strong and independent women. The teaser suggests that the film will be amusing, with Apte’s Durga morphing from a modest housewife into an undercover agent who dispatches crooks with the same ease with which she handles her family.

Alex, the film’s protagonist, is a teenager who visits his family in Mexico and finds a young chupacabra sheltering in his grandfather’s shed. This mythological creature has the appearance of a spiky-haired dog with wings and keen jaws. Alex and his cousins set off on a journey to save it.

This series, starring Tanya Maniktala and Shantanu Maheshwari, tells the story of a vampire with a broken tooth who falls in love with a bashful dentist.
Citadel, Amazon Prime Video, April 28
This six-episode action, sci-fi thriller starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden is about an espionage agency that falls and their agents’ memories are erased as a result. They must, however, resist the powerful crime organisation that is responsible for all of this, and in order to do so, they must remember their past and fight back.
