Meanwhile, Ranoj Pegu, the Education Minister of Assam, took to Twitter to say, “SEBA has cancelled the General Science examination of the ongoing HSLC examination scheduled for 13/03/2023 due to media reports of question paper leakage. The next date will be announced as soon as possible.”
Previously, the English subject of the Higher Secondary Leaving Certificate or Assam HSLC Exam 2023 was cancelled. The English exam has been cancelled in one of the Cachar district centres, according to a SEBA notice.
The paper leak incident was reported in Cachar district, where the question paper went viral after 15 minutes of the start of the Mathematics exam, according to sources.

Previously, SEBA stated in a statement, “This year’s High School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLC) English Examination was held on March R.S. The SEBA has announced that the examination will be cancelled after receiving a report from the authorities that some candidates from Ganir Gram Kendra’s Higher Secondary School had used dishonest methods to sit the examination. The notice also states that SEBA has received verbal complaints from other examination centres, and that the concerned district authorities have been asked to submit an investigation report.
