The government of Assam suspended Victor Das from Panitema Radha Krishna Jugal Milan L.P. School. The Office of the District Elementary Education, Kamrup, in a notification stated that Victor Das has been placed under suspension from the post of Assistant Teacher.
According to sources, Victor has been suspended with immediate effect due to the report of the Head Teacher of Panitema Radha Krishna Jugal Milan L.P. School.
Recently On September 9, Assam police arrested Victor Das on suspicion of spreading rumors about a scam in the recruitment process to fill over 26,000 vacant positions in various departments.
The Gauhati high court in Assam has granted Victor interim bail till September 29.
On the other hand, Victor Das, who is also the owner of a coaching institute in Guwahati, claimed that some people were demanding Rs 3-8 lakh for the positions. Victor took to Twitter to claim that some former MLAs were involved in the ‘scam’. In a tweet on Friday, Victor Das, a Guwahati resident, claimed that there were significant problems in the state government’s recruitment processes.

Assam police arrested Victor Das and charged him with violating sections 120B, 153, 153A, 384, and 505 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
He has been accused of “spreading rumors and engaging in a conspiracy to inflame disharmony between people over government appointments.”
