‘Lachit: The Warrior’ bags the Best Animation Award at the Kollywood International Film Fest

“Lachit: The Warrior” is an animated short film that successfully bagged the Best Animation Film Award at the Kollywood International Film Festival.

Senior Assam Police Officer Partha Sarathi Mahanta directs the film highlighting the life and contributions of the renowned Assamese General Lachit Borphukan.

Mina Mahanta and Indrani Baruah were the producers of the film, the narration was provided by Dr Amarjyoti Choudhury. Rupam Talukdar managed the music, Anupam Mahanta served as the creative director, Hrishikesh Bora handled storyboarding and illustration, and Ratul Dutta managed VFX.

“Lachit: The Warrior” screened and honoured in eight international film festivals, including Delhi, Kolkata, Jaipur, and Mumbai North- East Film Festival.

The movie is chosen for the esteemed Indian Panorama at the upcoming International Film Festival of India in Goa.
