Guwahati is now COVID free as Assam reported only one active COVID-19 positive case on Tuesday as data shared by National Health Mission Assam.
Assam is very close to witnessing zero COVID-19 positive cases within this week. On Tuesday, a total of 689 tests were conducted across the state as zero cases were witnessed.
Goalpara is now the only district remaining with one COVID-19 case.
A total of 2,83,55,943 COVID-19 tests were conducted across the states as 7,24,196 positive cases have been reported to date. 6,639 people lost their lives in the massive virus.
The recovery rate of COVID-19 has reached 98.90 per cent. It’s good vibes for Assam and the entire nation that Assam is hoping soon to be COVID-19 free state.
