In a tragic turn of event, a youth from Guwahati Assam has allegedly died of shock resulting of world cup final as India lost by 7 wickets to Australia.
The youth has been identified as Pranjal Majumder a resident of Birubari area in Guwahati.
According to the family, he went into a state of depression after India lost the match and went to bed without having dinner. He had got up from bed several time however when they went to check on him he was foung lying on the bed and not responding. The family member then quickly rushed him to athe Hospital, however the doctor declare him dead. The body has been send for post mortem and the cause of the dead is yet to confirmed.
Family member believe that pranjal may have committed suicide because of the India crushing defeat to Australia in ICC men ODI cricket world cup 2023. However nothing can be confirmed till the post mortem report come in.
