Assam SEBA HSLC Exam: ‘Cancelled’ HSLC MIL exams on April 1, Says Ranoj Pegu

Assam SEBA HSLC Exam: According to Education Minister Ranoj Pegu, SEBA will hold all ‘cancelled’ HSLC MIL exams on April 1.

English (IL), Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Hindi, Manipuri, Hmar, Nepali, Mizo, Khasi, Garo, Karbi, and Urdu are among the MIL subjects.

“This is to notify to all concerned that in view of the ongoing Police Investigation regarding the leakage of the Question paper of the HSLC Examination 2025, and in order to avoid holding of examination of MIL subjects in a compromised situation, the Board of Secondary, Education, Assam has decided to reschedule the Examination of MIL/English (IL) subject earlier scheduled to be held on 18th March 2023.

 

“The examination of MIL/English (IL) subjects will now be held on 1st April 2023 from 9.00 am onwards in all the centres of the state of Assam,” according to an official order dated March 17, 2023.

Pegu also made the announcement about the rescheduled exam on his official Twitter account.

The Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) has decided to reschedule the March 30 High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) General Science paper, which was cancelled on Monday due to a paper leak.

Education Minister Ranoj Pegu has announced that the Matric or Class 10 English paper, which was cancelled at one exam centre in Cachar, will be held on March 28.

The HSLC science exam paper was originally scheduled for March 13, but it was cancelled due to reports of a paper leak.

 

“General Science examination of the ongoing HSLC examination scheduled for 13/03/2023 has been cancelled by SEBA in view of media reports of leakage of the question paper. “The next date will be announced soon,” Pegu tweeted on Sunday night.

According to minister Pegu, a police case has been filed in connection with the paper leak, and the CID has been ordered to investigate the matter.
