Assam police arrested a most wanted dacoit from Meghalaya’s Byrnihat on Friday. Panbazaar police arrested the dacoit and has been identified as Binoy Das and he is from Bihar.
The accused was involved in several theft case in Guwahati and other location. He recently robbed Rs.10 lakh from a women in Panbazaar and was also involved in a similar case in Kokrajhar.
According to the sources CCTV camera that were placed at the scene of the incident helped police identify him.
He was apprehended on 28 June after he robbed 2 lakh from a man in Byrnihat.
