Barpeta, Assam: Suman Adhikary, an Assamese screenwriter from Barpeta, has received two Filmfare Awards for his work on the Hindi movie “Badhaai Do.”
Suman Adhikary won two prestigious Filmfare Awards for his performance in the movie “Badhaai Do,” bringing honor to the state. On the evening of April 27, the prizes were given out.

A comedy-drama movie called “Badhaai Do” was released in January 2022. Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar play the key characters. The movie was made by Junglee Pictures and directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni.

Both the Best Story and Best Screenplay prizes went to Adhikary, Akshat Ghildiyal, and Harshavardhan Kulkarni.
Adhikary has previously received praise for his abilities. In addition to being nominated for an IIFA for Best Screenplay for Badhaai Do, he had already won the Filmfare for his directed and written short film Sorry Bhaisaab.
