Basundhara 2.0 (মিছন বসুন্ধৰা 2.0) Assam Login Process: The Government of Assam’s Department of Revenue and Disaster Management has created a website called Mission Basundhara for Citizens of Assam, which will let citizens apply online for land-related services in all of the state’s districts. On November 14, 2022, the chief minister of Assam officially launched the “Mission Basundhara 2.0” project.

Through the Mission Basundhara online portal, Assamese citizens can seek redress from the comfort of their own homes for any land-related needs in Assam.

Mission Basundhara – Assam Land Record Online Update Portal

Beginning in 2021, the Assam government started the Mission Basundhara initiative. At the time, Mission Basundhara was very popular and received more than 8 lakh applications. After that, on November 14, 2022, the Assam government announced Mission Basundhara 2.0 with a number of new services. The following is a list of every service offered by Mission Basundhara, new and old.

How to Apply for Mission Basundhara 2.0?

To apply online for the aforementioned services, the preferred Assamese individual must go to the missionbasundhara.org website. The applicant must include his or her mobile number throughout the login process in order to continue with this mission’s application process. Below is a brief step-by-step explanation of the online application process for the convenience of our users.

  1. Check the section titled “Services of Mission Basundhara” by scrolling up.
  2. You’ll receive a list of services along with a link to the application.
  3. The service link should be clicked.
  4. The official Mission Basundhara website will now open in a new tab in your browser.
  5. Now select the service’s Apply button.
  6. It will open a new tab. To send an OTP, enter your active mobile number and press the button.
  7. Now, fill out the field with the OTP and press the Submit OTP button.
  8. Four steps will appear after a successful login for you to follow.
  9. You then need to click on submit.
  10. After that, you must make an online payment of Rs 60.
  11. You will receive acknowledgment for the print version when it reaches the final stage.
  12. Print off a copy of the acknowledgment for your records.

Available Services of Mission Basundhara Assam

Service Guidelines: Mutation means registration of the name of a person in the Record of Right i.e. the Jamabandi. The ownership is transferred from the recorded land owner to the legal heir through inheritance.The mutation by right of inheritance shall follow the provision under Sec 53 A (1), ALRR, 1886. There is no user fees for the service.

  • Death Certificate
  • Next of kin certificate OR
  • Certificate from gaon pradhan or from ward member / Executive officer in case of Town OR
  • Probate from court in case of will OR
  • Relationship Affidavit
  • Consent of other next of kin opting out of mutation, if any

2. Mutation after deed registration

Service Guidelines: The process of recording the change/transfer in the title of ownership after the property has been transferred or sold. On mutation the name of the new owner is recorded and land revenue charged from the rightful owner. No user fees for the service.

  • NOC Copy

3. Partition for undisputed cases

Service Guidelines: Partition means division of a revenue paying estate in to two or more such estates, each separately liable for revenue assessed thereon. Every recorded proprietor/landowner in actual possession of the interest in respect of which he desires partition, apply for partition. No user fees for the service.

4. Reclassification of agricultural land to non agricultural land less than 1 bigha

Service Guidelines: If the usage of land is changed, the class of land also requires to be changed from the existing to a new land class. This service is for reclassification of agricultural land to non agricultural purpose if the land area is below one bigha and its use is restricted to construction of one’s own dwelling house. No user fees for the service.

5. Allotment certificate to Periodic Patta

Service Guidelines: The allotment certificate to be converted to periodic patta after verifying the possession of the allottee for the stipulated period.

  • Legal Heir Document, if not original allottee

6. Conversion from Annual Patta to Periodic Patta

Service Guidelines: Conversion is the process through which status of any land settled for one year (Annual Patta) is changed to longer tenure. Once AP land is converted to PP Land, the land owner shall have permanent, heritable and transferable right of use and occupancy in his land. No user fees for AP to PP conversion for rural areas.

7. Striking out of name from patta

Service Guidelines : The names of persons no longer in possession can be removes from RoR under Rule 116, ALRR, 1886 after hearing each case.

8. Mobile Number Updation

Service Guidelines: The mobile number of the pattadar can be updated under the service.

9. Name Correction

Service Guidelines : Any rectification in name of pattadar, area of land and updation of the remarks of the Jamabandi to be made under Legacy Data Updation service.

10. Area Correction
