In the 5th T20I of the five-match series, India beat Australia by six runs at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. With this win, Suryakumar Yadav led India to seal the series by 4-1. However, former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif couldn’t stop himself from trolling Matthew Wade-led Australia.
Kaif, who faced a lot of criticism from Australian media and players for his comments after India’s loss in the ODI World Cup finals against Australia, Damien Martyn and David Warner mocked Kaif for his intriguing comment despite Australia’s dominance in the final. However, Kaif clarified that his tweet was misconstrued.
He revealed that he intended to highlight India’s exceptional cricket throughout the World Cup, winning 10 consecutive matches leading up to the final, rather than diminishing Australia’s performance.
Now, after India’s dominant victory in the T20I series, Kaif once again trolled the Aussies with his tweet. “Better talent, better skills. This time, the better team on the field and paper won. 4-1,” Kaif posted on his X account.
Better talent, better skills. This time the better team on field, and on paper, won. 4-1 🇮🇳
