Royal Challengers Bangalore have named Faf du Plessis as new captain for IPL 2022. With Virat Kohli stepping down as captain after IPL 2021, the post was left vacant. Glenn Maxwell was one of the candidates but RCB have decided to go with the vastly experienced du Plessis.
