Gujarat Congress working committee president Hardik Patel resign from the congress. He recently expressed his discontentment with the state party leadership.
Taking to his social media handle twitter he wrote, “ Today I courageously resign from the post of Congress Party and primary membership of the party. I am sure that my decision will be welcomed by all my colleagues and the people of Gujarat. I believe that after this step of mine, I will be able to work really positively for Gujarat in future”.

There is a speculation going on that he might join either BJP or AAP. Earlier he had lauded the BJP Govt for revoking Article 370 and the constructions of Ram Mandir.
