Hailing from Jorhat, Debashish Sharma, a graduate of Ramjas College in Delhi University, is the founder of the Deepsikha Cancer Foundation—an innovative organization leading the way in cancer care in Assam.

Through the social media platform X, Ranoj Pegu extended congratulations to Shri Devashish Sharma (IAS) for his appointment as the President of Cancer Care India.
