How to buy Twitter Blue tick in India
There is some doubt about whether your blue tick will be revoked if you do not subscribe to Twitter Blue. Previous reports have suggested a 90-day grace period. All existing verified users who are not paying customers have a placeholder text on their profile badge indicating that their account was verified using the legacy verification criteria. Twitter does, however, reserve the right to “remove the checkmark of an account at any time without notice” under its purchaser terms of service, so it’s not surprising if you lose your blue tick in the future if you’re not a paying customer.
To obtain Twitter Blue, users must open the app, click on the profile picture in the upper left corner, and then select Twitter Blue. According to Twitter:
“Only Twitter accounts that were created more than 90 days ago are eligible to sign up for Twitter Blue. As part of the sign-up process, all Twitter Blue subscribers will be required to confirm their phone number. Changes to your profile photo, display name, or username (@handle) after you’ve subscribed to Twitter Blue will result in the loss of the blue checkmark until the account is validated as continuing to meet our requirements, and no further changes will be permitted during this review period.”
