A youth went missing after jumping into the Brahmaputra river from the Saraighat bridge in Guwahati on Sunday.
According to the sources, the youth was hanging in the bridge railing for half and hour. The SDRF, City Police and locals made an effort to convince him but the youth eventually jump into the river.
While the identity of the youth is yet to be ascertained.
Following the incident he went missing and the serach operation is on from the SDRF.
