Two SPs arrested in connection with the APSC cash-for-job scandal

Authorities have instructed Rituraj Doley and Nitumoni Das to appear before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) regarding their roles in the Golaghat additional superintendent of police post.

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has apprehended their ongoing probe suspect in connection with the cash-for-job scandal at the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) during 2013 and 2014. Authorities have apprehended two Superintendents of Police (SPs) in connection with the APSC cash-for-job scam.

Authorities have instructed Rituraj Doley and Nitumoni Das to appear before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) regarding their roles in the Golaghat additional superintendent of police post.

The directive requires Rituraj Doley, who previously served as the additional superintendent of police in Goalpara, to appear on December 14. The investigation reveals that Rituraj Doley served in the preceding role.

On the other hand, Nitumoni Das is currently fulfilling duties as the additional superintendent of police in Bongaigaon. 

Both individuals face allegations of involvement in the APSC cash-for-job scandal, leading to their arrest. Authorities are actively conducting a probe into the matter, emphasizing the commitment to address corruption within the public service recruitment process.

Up to this point, the authorities have apprehended individuals including Sukanya Das, Wahida Begum, Rakesh Das, Shahjahan Sarkar, Aishwarya Jeevan Baruah, Nanda Babu Singh, Rituraj Doley and Nitumoni Das in connection with the scam.
