In a shocking incident, the body of a school student was recovered under mysterious circumstances in the Bonda area in Guwahati on August 9.
A class 10 student of Maharishi Vidya Mandir school located in Lalmati area has been allegedly murdered by a schopkeepers because he was unable to repay the money he had borrowed from the students.
The deceased has been identified as Nitish kumar. He was reportedly kidnapped on 8 August by the accused identified as one Abhishek Baruah who took him to Bonda on the outskirts of Guwahati and later murder him.
The accused Abhishek Baruah is running a road – side shop in Guwahati Hatigaon area and was later arrested by the city police in connection with the case.
Guwahati Police Commissioner Diganta Barah said, ” The detail will be reveal later, I am investigating the matter, now going for the interrogation. After we analyse everything we will be able to disclose everything. Our team since last night was engaged in collection of information and necessary evidence. Once investigations completed we will be able to share more detail”.
