GMDA has announce a good news for the passengers of ropeway. As the ferry service between Guwahati and North-Guwahati has been suspended. GMDA offers this facility for regular passengers and students between Guwahati and North-Guwahati.
According to GMDA the regular passenger and student can avail special discount in ropeway between Guwahati and North-Guwahati. The fare for ropeway between Guwahati and North-Guwahati is fixed at RS.50 for regular passengers and student. However the previous fare of RS.100 will be maintained for the tourist. The ropeway will run from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM daily.
Ferry services between Guwahati and North Guwahati are suspended as the water level of Brahmaputra is rising. GMDA has taken this special measure to keep the ferry service shut down. This system will continue till further instructions are taken.
