The 2-lane Sarab Bhatti flyover will be open from 1st October for commuters. The flyover near Arya Vidyapeeth College, which has been under construction since the pandemic, will be open to all on 1st October.
On the other hand, The flyover will be open to commuters before the India-South Africa T20 match on October 2nd at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. It is be noted that in 2020 The first T20 International between India and Sri Lanka was called off due to a wet outfield in Guwahati.

Rain played spoilsport two years ago in Barsapara when India was scheduled to play Sri Lanka in a T20 match on January 5, 2020, sending cricket fans in Assam home with a heavy heart.
On the other hand, in 2020 The Ganeshguri Flyover was inaugurated on October 22 by Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The flyover was opened to the public from Sasthi, Durga Puja.
He stated that the 476-meter flyover was constructed under the State Own Priority Scheme-General with a budget of Rs 58.76 crore. The Government of India’s Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has approved the construction of ten new flyovers and Road over Bridges (ROB) projects on National Highways in Assam worth Rs 738 crore.

Kathiatoli, Borghat, Demow, Raha, Baihata, Simlaguri, Bongaigaon Refinery, Chapaguri, Pathsala, and Jagiroad are among the ten new flyovers and road over bridges planned in the state.
In February 2022, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma laid the foundation of a new flyover at Zoo Tiniali, RG Baruah Road, which is being built at a cost of Rs 78.93 crore.
