On the evening of November 22, a grenade explosion occurred in the vicinity of the Army camp in Kakopathar, Dirak.
The explosion occurred in front of the gate of 19 Grenadiers at Dirak approximately at 7:40 PM.

GP Singh posted in the social media handle X stating that the blast seems to be a strange coincidence with the Assam government taking revitalised action on APSC scam.
