Today is President Droupadi Murmu’s second day in Assam. President Droupadi Murmu visited Shaktipeeth Kamakhya Dham this morning to seek Maa Kamakhya’s blessings. The President spent the night at the Koinadhara State Guest House.
The President will inaugurate Virtually 3000 Model Anganwadi Centres from the Kalakshetra. ‘Mission Saubhagya’ will also be launched. In addition, President Murmu will lay the groundwork for 100 Model Secondary Schools in the tea garden area.

On the other hand, On the final day of her two-day visit to Assam, President Draupadi Murmu offered prayers at the famous Kamakhya Temple, one of 51 Shakti Peethas, atop Nilachal Hills in Guwahati. Governor Jagdish Mukhi, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, and other dignitaries accompanied her. “The President and her daughter paid obeisance in the sanctum sanctorum and performed the temple’s ‘parikrama.’

President Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the National Law University (NLU) at Narsingarh in West Tripura’s district on Wednesday, following a two-day visit to the Northeastern state.

The President will inaugurate several sections of the national highway and lay the groundwork for Mainarbunder Oil India Limited’s Railway-Fed Petroleum Storage Depot in Silchar. The President will inaugurate the four-lane Gahpur-Holengi highway and the two-lane Silchar-Badarpur highway. Draupadi Murmu will also lay the foundation stone for the road connecting Dibrugarh and Lidu. The President will lay the groundwork for The Agiathuri Cargo and Coach Terminal. The President will virtually participate in all of these programmes from Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra in Guwahati.
