AAP Assam (Aam Aadmi Party) today staged a protest demanding inquiry into the alleged PPE kit scam in the state.
The protest was lead by leader Kamal Kumar Medhi which was staged at Dighalipukhori. the protester later went to Latasil police station and registered a case in connection with the PPE kit scam .
AAP has informed that a case has been file against the chief minister’s wife Riniki Bhuyan Sarma, son Nandil Biswa sarma and businessman at Latasil Police station.
It may be recalled that the scam (PPE Kit scam) was allegedly committed during the covid. Various parties reacted soon after the media reported on the scam and AAP today protested against it.
