A Rs 3,000 crore loan was left behind by the former administration of BTR: Himanta Biswa Sarma

Himanta Biswa Sarma blamed the former government in BTR, claiming that the inhabitants of the region were left with an extraordinary loan burden of Rs 3,000 crore by the ruling party, which was eventually lowered to Rs 1200 crore.

According to Himanta Biswa Sarma, Bodoland is a developed and peaceful region led by the Chief of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), Pramod Boro.

Himanta Biswa Sarma, who was present at the BTR government’s third anniversary meeting at the Bijni District Sports Association Playground in Chirang, stated, “The Kokrajhar triple engine government is in operation. The coalition of the BJP-UPPL administration in Kokrajhar, the BJP government in Dispur, and the Modi government in Delhi is known as “triple engine sarkar”.

CM Sarma also declared that Bodoland will prosper in terms of peace and development as long as it maintains a triple-engine administration.

Criticizing the former BTR administration, Himanta Biswa Sarma stated that the parties that failed to prioritize regional development wished to dissolve the BJP-UPPL coalition and reevaluate their options.

Himanta Biswa Sarma asserted that the past administrations served their personal interests rather than the interests of the people. Today, Kokrajhar and Chirang districts were the focus of a tour led by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. 

The BTR administration, led by the BJP, GSP, and UPPL, has now been in office for three years, according to BTR Chief Pramod Boro.

He claimed that Bodoland has experienced winds of peace, prosperity, and advancement throughout the past three years, which was unthinkable in 2020. He went into great detail on the accomplishments the BTR Government has made in the last three years in a variety of sectors, all of which have been made possible by the combined efforts of the Bodoland Territorial Council, the State Government, and the Federal Government.
